Real Time PCR

Our service cover all steps in quantitative PCR and SNP detection - from the development of the experimental strategy to the final data analysis. For the performance we use according to the project, validated probes, customised probe designs or SYBR green assays.

PCR (qPCR) Expression Analysis: Using absolute and relative mRNA quantification. For absolute quantification, we uses internal standards, e.g. synthetic produced fragments. For relative quantification different controls can be used, e.g. expression of housekeeping genes

SNP Genotyping/Polymorphism Analyses: Differentiation of polymorphism via specific probes, e.g. for the study of genetic diseases.
For multiple sample experiments (e.g. treated and untreated) we can perform statistical analysis (t-test) to provide relative expression levels.

Service Features: (1) Experimental Design: Design of gene specific DNA primers and qPCR probes. Design, cloning and synthesis of gene specific DNA and RNA standard (2) Sample Preparation: Isolation and purification of DNA and RNA from blood, tissue, cells, etc. 93) Assay Development: Optimisation of new Real-Time PCR assays reaching maximum levels of sensitivity, accuracy and reproducibility, (4) Data Analysis.

Service Procedure: We offer complete analysis of raw data for relative or absolute mRNA and/or gene quantifications. Clear results are determined by calculating the ratio of the gene of interest to the housekeeping gene.

Step 1: Experimental Design: Design of gene specific DNA primers and qPCR probes. Design, cloning and synthesis of gene specific DNA and RNA standards; Step 2: Sample Preparation: Provide us with cells, tissue or RNA. If you wish to use commercially available RNA as a source for your experiment, please indicate this to us and we will purchase the RNA for you. Step 3: Quality control and cDNA: RNA quality is checked; cDNA are synthesized from RNA samples, followed by cleanup and QC of cDNA.
Step 4: Assay Development: Optimization and set-up of qRT-PCR; Step 5: Data Management and Data Analysis: QC data are extracted and reported, along with basic data analysis.

Sample submission: Tissue1-10g or cells 1*108 or 2 µg total RNA or 30 µg cDNA
Turn-around Time: In about 1 week you will receive: raw and processed data and a summary of the results.
